Photography from the Crowfoot family will be a main feature in the Westin Calgary Airport and Conference Centre, which is partially owned by SRDL Business Group and Siksika Nation.
"The one thing I am most proud of, is this is a family project with five Crowfoot photographers involved" - Said Bert Crowfoot who lead the enormous project before the hotels opening in a few weeks.
The collection includes photographs from Crowfoot's son Brad Crowfoot, daughter Sandra Crowfoot, and nephew’s Ardash Crowfoot and Samuel Crowfoot.
"There is a total of 39 images in the hotel. There is a lot of teepee images in this project and the reasoning is a hotel is a home away from home. We are a proud people and the images reflect that"
some of the images are of local Siksika Nation members including Tim Monroe, Torry Eagle Speaker and Layla Buffalo.
