BUSINESS GOALS
To increase the net revenues realized by Siksika Nation from the development of renewable and non-renewable natural resources.
To establish viable long term business and investment strategies that will continue to generate revenues from the Siksika Nation after the non-renewable resources have been depleted.
To include an employment agreement in ventures related to commercial, industrial, agricultural, tourism, renewable and non-renewable developments.
In consultation with Siksika Chief & Council, as directed from time to time, to assure that the Siksika Nation develops and maintains a sound economic base that will support the implementation of an inherent right.
SRDL BUSINESS GROUP OBJECTIVES
The promotion, encouragement, and enhancement of economic investment and development of the Nation.
To plan, finance, initiate, develop, construct, own, by, sell, hold, manage, administer, operate, and promote economic ventures on behalf of the Nation.
To assist employment and training in the creation, coordination, and administration of incentive programs for investments and job creation.
To provide employment and training for members of the Nation.
To promote the art, religion, and the culture of the Nation and to generally improve the lives of the members of Siksika.
To promote the economic and social welfare of the Nation by supporting benevolent and charitable enterprises, federations, agencies, and societies engaged in assisting the development, both economic and social, of the members of the Nation.
